W6LAR Lawrence R. 'Larry' Anderson Yucaipa, CA QCWA # 33866 Chapter 130

Active in my local Amateur Radio Club, YVARC (Yucaipa Valley Amateur Radio Club). Operate on all bands HF, VHF and UHF. Own and operate two repeaters, 147.180 + PL 88.5hz and 445.340 - PL 88.5hz located in the City of Redlands California.

I retired from Verizon, formerly GTE, as a Microwave/Fiber/Tower Maintenance technician since 1964. I and a co-worker performed all the structure/safety/RF inspections on Verizon Com towers in California and Nevada. Not Verizon Wireless. At almost 66 now its taking me a little bit longer to get to the top than when I was in my 50's. My knees are starting to give me trouble.

The home station antenna. 60 foot GlenMartin tower with voyager 7 hazer. Cushcraft X9 with a A3WS on top. Various inverted V's for 40m and 75m. Tower is configured and fed as a top loaded folded vertical dipole on 160m. Works FB!
