W6QZ Daniel J. 'Dan' Farrell Anaheim, CA QCWA # 24565 Chapter 7

Hi--- I'm active on 160-440. On HF, I operate mostly CW, especially in the NTS traffic nets. I'm also on RTTY and PSK 31. I am a Professor Emeritus in the School of Allied Health at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, CA and am married with three children. Besides ham radio, I am also a very active musician. I play stringed instruments and usually gig as a bass player (both upright bass and bass guitar). Finally, I have been licensed since 1966. I was WB6TIF from 1966 until 1985. From 1985 until 1996, I was WF6O. I became W6QZ when the vanity calls opened up for extras in November of 1996.
