Max Gardner Jensen, 86, passed away Monday Nov. 19, 2007. He was born in Salt Lake City on February 8, 1921 to John Henry and Eva Gardner Jensen. He married Maurine West in the Salt Lake Temple on May 7, 1948, Maurine died in 1977. He later married Merna May Boggess, she died in 1997.
Max attended school in Ephraim, Utah. He was in the service during World War II in the Signal Corps. He was a radio operator. He will be awarded military honors. Max was employed by Perkin and Elmer in California. He retired and moved to Taylorsville, Utah. He enjoyed talking with people all over the world as a Ham Operator. He was a High Priest in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Max is survived by his two daughters Joan and Judy Green (Donald), brother Robert and twin sister Mary Olsen. Preceded in death by his brother Richard.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday November 24, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Taylorsville 23rd Ward, 4932 So. 3200 West.
A viewing will be held one hour prior to services.
Interment will be in the Ephraim City Cemetery.
