Charles R. "Bob" Thrapp was called home on Monday, August 17, 2009. Charles was born on August 21, 1931 in Boise Idaho to Charles Russell and Martha Adel Thrapp. He graduated from West Seattle High in 1950. He later served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. In 1956 he married the love of his life Carol Marie Norseth in Helena Montana. He then pursued a career in the Telecommunications industry with Mountain Bell, SBS, and MCI World Com. Bob and Carol raised their family in Montana and then his career led them to Louisiana, Virginia, Colorado and Texas.
After retiring they spent years traveling in a motor home, eventually settling in Casper WY. He was a Ham Radio enthusiast,
loved to fish, and he dearly loved his pets.
He is survived by his wife, Carol of 53 years; three sons, Wade and his wife Cari of Spokane, WA, Kevin and his wife Amber of Lander, WY, Brian of Missoula, MT; one daughter, Stacy and her husband Mark of Casper, WY; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren and brother, Edwin Thrapp of Graham WA. He was preceded in death by his youngest brother, Byron Thrapp.
