Samuel Stuart "Doc" Zuckerman was born on July 2, 1899, in Colorado. He had his first 2-way contact in 1915, when he joined the Colorado Wireless Association. Doc graduated from the University of Colorado School of Medicine (Denver) in 1934, after which he was licensed to practice medicine in Wyoming. He specialized in pathology and was a member of the Laramie County Medical Society. He was a veteran of WWI, and served in the U. S. Navy during WWII as a medical officer. Doc retired as a captain in 1962 from the U.S. Naval Reserve. He passed away on September 18, 1984, in Cheyenne.
