He was born May 22, 1934, in Montfort, Wisconsin, to Walter and Leona France. His family moved to Miles City, Montana, when he was an infant. Keith was a member of the Episcopal Church. On August 1, 1959, he married Dianne Oster. Together, they had three children. In 1963, they moved to Douglas after having lived in Lewiston and Great Falls, Montana. Keith loved his family and spending time with them. They enjoyed many years traveling, camping and fishing together.
Keith worked for the FFA and for the Bureau of Reclamation. He retired after 33 years working for the federal government.
