I live in Salt Lake City close to Sugar House. I was first licensed in June of 1990 as Novice with a Call Sign of KB7LBC.

In July of 1990 I became a Techician with a Call Sign of N7PGX. I kept N7PGX when I passed my General Class in March of 1993.

September 1993 I received my Advanced License and received the Call Sign of KI7RR. I became an Extra Class in November 2003.

Because of my love for the University Of Utah, I applied for a Vanity Call Sign in March 2006 and became W7UTE.

I married to a wonderful lady Judi Short and we have Rosie, a pure bred Beagle, we dearly love. If I'm not on the Ham Radios I can be found walking Miss Rosie in Sugar House or attending a University of Utah Football or Basketball game!

I retired from Xerox Corp. in 2005 as a Service Tech with 35 years of service. I became the dinner cook for Judi until she retired 3 years later. Love to rag chew and hand traffic on The Utah Beehive Net. I check in the the High Noon Net and Farm Net too.

I have 4 children that live in the Salt Lake Valley and Judi's son lives in Colorado. I love my 7 grand Kids and enjoy short visits!
