George A. Ginandt was born on January 14, 1906, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to George P. and Ada (nee Wassmer) Ginandt. George served for two years in the U.S. Army during WWII (1942-44). He was stationed at Crile General Hospital in the grade of Technician Fifth Class. He passed away on August 17, 1981, at Cincinnat's University General Hospital. George was buried in Walnut Hills Cemetery in Cincinnati.
