Myron Kiefaber 93, W8BML, QCWA # 9730 of North Canton, died on August 11, 2008. Myron was first licensed in 1948 and joined Chapter 21 in 1975. Our condolences to his daughters and their families. Myron F. Kiefaber, age 93, of North Canton, passed away Monday, August 11, 2008, at Heather Ridge Assisted Living in North Canton. He was born in East Sparta, OH, April 16, 1915, to the late Fred and Elva (Brown) Kiefaber. Myron was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was a former teacher and worked one year with Voice of America in Washington, DC. He was a member of the Canton Baptist Temple and Jolly Sixties. He was a ham radio enthusiast. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys, in 1978; a son, Wendell; a grandson, Jason Kiefaber; a sister, Florence Clugston; and a brother, Paul Kiefaber. Myron is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Helen and Robert Boch of Massillon, Marilyn and Chuck Frazier, Carol Flood and Nancy Campbell all of Canton; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and two nephews. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in the Stier-Israel Funeral Home of Louisville with Rev. Delaney Young officiating. Friends may call one hour before services on Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Lawrence Twp. Cemetery, Bolivar, OH.
