Paul Raymond Valko, 48, of Oakland, died on April 22, 2006. He was loving husband of Debra. He was father of Katie and Colleen. He was beloved son of Frank and Patricia, and brother of Bryan (Laurie), Keith (Donna) Valko, and Lisa (Mike) Hackert. He was godfather of Theresa, Angie, Alex, Matthew, Erik and Derek. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Paul was an employee of EDS for over 20 years. He was an amateur radio operator, a member of the Auburn Hills Optimist Club, and taught religious ed at St. Joseph Catholic Church. He enjoyed working with the girls track team at Lake Orion High School.
He loved all things electronic. Special times were spent with family and friends at his cottage, .The Little House.. He will be most remembered for his love of family, friends and fun.
A funeral mass is April 28, 11 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 715 N. Lapeer in Lake Orion. The family will receive friends on Wed., 6-9 p.m., with a 7:30 p.m. scripture service, and on Thurs., 3-9 p.m., at the Modetz Funeral Home, 100 E Silverbell Road in Orion.
Interment is at Guardian Angel Cemetery. Suggested memorials to the family for a future scholarship fund at LOHS, in memory of Paul.
