Chapter 30

Thanks for visiting my bio page. My name is Mac Gray, I live in Seebert, Pocahontas County, West Virginia, on the Greenbrier River at 2070' above sea level. I was first licensed in 1978 as KA8BXM.
I enjoy working DX (SSB, CW, FT8) and rag chewing. I have two stations in the loft at my home, an Icom IC-7600 mated to an Acom 1000 and a Flex 6300 mated to an Elecraft KPA-1500. Both stations share a Heil PR-781 mic and LP-100A meter. The second station located in my living room, next to my wood stove (and recliner) is an Icom IC-7300, Heil iCM mic, and Ameritron ALS-600 amp. Switching between the two stations via an Alpha Delta switch.
The antenna system consists of a Innov XR5 10, 12, 15 and 20 meters, Innov LFA MAX 6 meters and wire antennas to include a 75 meter dipole, 80 meter inverted L, 160 meter full wave loop, 160 inverted L, 40 meter wire vertical and 30 meter wire vertical. The verticals each have one elevated radial. The antennas terminate in an Ameritron RCS-10 remote switch located in my carport, a single coax runs to the loft above.
Hope you enjoy the hobby as much as I do. If we have not worked I look forward to adding you to my log.
