One of our oldest hams became a Silent Key on Dec. 9 last year(2019). He was 98 years old. He followed his wife Harriet, who was also a ham: K8PKL, who died earlier on May 6th of 2019.
Milton was born in Dayton, attended the University in Michigan and Dayton.
In WW2 he was serving as a B-24 pilot and commander operating from Italy.
With his two brothers he owned the Ever-Roll Specialties Company in Springfield.
Milton served a president of the Dayton Kiwanis Club. He was an accomplished piano & organ player. Milton became a ham at age 17 and had during his lifetime the following calls: W8SLY, AE8K, & W8MK.

Harriet and Milt leave behind one son and two daughters with their Families.
