Van Buren, Lloyd W., of Trenton Michigan passed away on October 7, 2018 at Angela Hospice in Livonia, Michigan. He was 100 years old.
Lloyd was born September 12, 1918 in Plymouth Michigan to Clarence and Maude (French) Van Buren.
He graduated from Marion High School in 1938.
Lloyd served in the US Merchant Marines during World War II.
He was a lifetime member of the Marion Historical Society and Amvets post number 72 in New Haven.
Lloyd enjoyed fishing, hunting, and flying.
He is survived by his children David (Peggy), Margaret, Mary (Gary), and Daniel. His seven grandchildren are Andrea, David, Sarah, Erica, Kevin, Joan and Angela. He also has five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth, his son in law Morley (Dusty), his baby brother William and his parents.
The funeral service was conducted on Thursday, October 11 at the Trenton Chapel-Martenson Family of Funeral Homes.
