W8VVG Larry R. Pasman Battle Creek, MI QCWA # 36169

I am a retired telephone splicer (April 2007) after 40 years with AT&T. First licensed in 1965 as WN8VVG and WA8VVG, Now W8VVG. I enjoy playing with my trained Lab, Pete (K9-LAB), hunting, archery, model RC planes, flying Light sport planes and motorcycling.

I was inactive for about 15 years until I retired. With a little push from W8UVZ, K8GG and W0CD I am now active on 80/160 cw chasing DX. I also hang out on 1.871 with the 1721 bunch evenings, a very friendly ragchew group.

After many years of casual collecting QSL's, I got serious about. I just received the DXCC award part of which is 173 country's worked on 160 cw with 165 confirmed. Most confirmed on LOTW.

I have a great wife Rosemary, 3 kids, Ryan, Trevor and Lacey. 6 grandkids, Jordan, Hunter, Jacob, Mikalya, Chase and new arrival Gerad 9/6/2013

I was recently honored to present the 160-10 meter small lot Waller Flag RX antenna (see below) at the 2011 Dayton Antenna Forum. Thanks to all who attended and the kind comments. See www.kkn.net/dayton2011/N4ISwallerflag.pdf for the presentation or www.k3lr.com and then Dayton 2011 antenna forum. Thanks to NX4D and N4IS for all the advice and help.
