O D Keaton was a resident of Old Hickory, Davidson, TN; a member of Dowelltown Baptist Church. He was an avid HAM radio operator and a lifetime member of the American Radio Relay League. He graduated from DeKalb County High School; Cumberland State University; and Vanderbilt University. He was a US Navy veteran, and Chief Chemist for the Water Quality Control Division of the State of Tennessee.
Funeral services at Bond Memorial Chapel on December 8, 2007. Burial at Salem Cemetery with Military honors.
