Charles Jeffrey Day, of Oak Cliff, Texas, born on August 20, 1948 in Dallas, Texas, to the late Almeta Day and the late Robert Day, passed away at age 70 on July 24, 2019 in Rockwall, Texas.
Jeff graduated from The University of North Texas in 2000.
He was a Research Assistant at UT Southwest Medical until retiring in 1976, an Electron Microscope Technician at Solvay Engineered Polymers until retiring in 2005, and a Substitute Teacher at Dallas ISD until retiring in 2017.
Jeff was the beloved husband of Deborah Rogers. The two were married in Dallas, June 7th 1975.
Jeff is survived by his daughters, Sarah Day and Jolie Bullard; and grandson, Adrien Day. He also leaves behind his adored dog, Dee Dee.
Jeff enjoyed HAM radio, psychics, microbiology, astronomy, and the history of science.
A private celebration of life will be held by the family.
