HAUGHTON, LA - Services for MSgt. Benjamin Herbert McCasland, 85, will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors from 12:00 p.m. until service time.
Benjamin was born March 21, 1929 in Oak Grove, Louisiana to parents Ben S. and Elon Castleman McCasland and passed away on January 1, 2015 in Bossier City. Benjamin proudly served his country during the Korean War and Indochina in the United States Air Force, retiring after 26 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandchild and one great-grandchild his loving wife, Mary B. McCasland and is survived by sons, David S. McCasland (Liza), Randall H. McCasland (Helen) and Jeffery McCasland (Philip); daughters, Karen A. Pittman (Kenneth) and Rebecca S. McCasland-McDowell (Tommy); 9 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, Clotile Bains and Middie Cooper
