Marjorie J. Smothers, age 94, passed away on November 1, 2013.
She is preceded in death by her husband Delbert, her parents, her 2 sisters, 1 brother and her niece Barbara Robertson.
She is survived by her 2 stepchildren, Barbara Stubber & William Smothers, her nephew Martin (Kathy) Fry and her great-niece Holly Leiser and great-nephew Scott Robertson.
Marjorie was a long time member of the Dayton Ham Radio Club, Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and Eastern Star.
As a volunteer, her knitting skills resulted in hundreds of newborn caps for babies born at Kettering Hospital over the years.
