I am a member of ARES/RACES Dist 1,Clatsop County,State of Oregon, AEC, OES.I retired as Electronics Officer aboard Merchant ships. (Formerly, Radio Officer) I have retired from Dept. of Def. as Ship's Communication Officer and am Merchant Marine Veteran.

I enjoy working uhf,vhf, hf including several digital modes. Station includes Omni VII, Kenwood, Icom. I am member of Oregon Emergency Net and temporary net control as needed. Member of Cannon Beach Amateur Radio Society and Seaside Tsunami Amateur Radio Society as trustee.
