Allen Paul Swicinski, 72, of Hopatcong passed away on Tuesday October 15, 2019 at University Hospital in Newark.
Born on December 1, 1946 in Newark, NJ to the late Alfred and Marie (Horychun) Swicinski, Allen served proudly in the United States Coast Guard from 1966-70.
Allen was employed by NJ Bell/Verizon in Newark for many years.
Allen enjoyed communicating on his ham radio and was an avid collector of sports and celebrity autographs. Allen enjoyed listening to 50's music and watching old comedies on TV.
Survivors include his wife Janice (Ledig), son Scott and his wife Tammy and two grandsons, Thomas and Caleb Swicinski.
Allen's Life Celebration will include a memorial gathering on Saturday October 19, 2019 from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A family eulogy will be offered at the funeral home at 1:00 PM.
