Sir Terence Michael McCRANN December 27, 1944 - November 25, 2020 Obituary for Sir Terence Michael McCRANN Sir Terence Michael "Mike" McCrann, LT. JG passed peacefully at home, Wednesday, November 25, 2020 surrounded by his family. Mr. McCrann was born on December 27th, 1944 in Kansas City, Kansas. He grew up in Manhattan, KS. attending K-State. In his younger years, he played American Legion baseball. He was an avid golfer and photographer. Mr. McCrann joined the Navy in 1964. He served 2 tours as a pilot flying the E2-A Hawkeye aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise during the Vietnam era. After the Navy, Mr. McCrann had a career in sales and retired in 2009. Mr. McCrann was a member of the St. Charles Amateur Radio Club (WD0GSY), CERT St. Peters, an observing coordinator for the 100 Acre Wood Road Rally and was Knighted under The Scottish Knights Templar. In his off time, he enjoyed a cigar and a single malt scotch. Preceding him in death were his parents, Charles M., and Sarah Margaret McCrann, and his son, Christopher S. McCrann. He is survived by his sister, Lisa P. McCrann. His former spouse, Sherry V. McCrann, their two daughters, Erin L. McCrann and Megan E. Bigelis, and his two granddaughters, Kelli C. Ly, and Samantha M. Doherty. Graveside services will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery 2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125 |
