Long time Chapter 30 member John Palagino, WD8IBN, of Clarksburg, became an SK July 25, 2004. John was not active the last few years following a serious stroke and other health problems. He was active in the chapter serving as secretary for several years as well as bringing humor and wit to entertain his fellow hams. Actually, he single handedly kept our chapter going for several years. His son had sent several notes regarding his father's failing health in answer to mailings from the chapter sent to John.
