Things have been pretty quiet this summer at the Florida Keys Chapter 147, with most members up north. We held our last meeting on May 2nd, at my QTH. The good news is that we have 16 members, not all active. The sad news is our Secretary/Treasurer, R. M. Sherrill, K4CBT, has had to resign because of ill health. He has moved near San Francisco, CA to live vdth his daughter - he's 84 years of age. We are hoping that he recovers and returns to us. We cannot elect another Secretary/Treasurer until I we get going again with the full Winter Season which should be underway when this is printed. We will have to suspend summer meetings in the Keys until we have enough members to attend the meetings called.
